28 years ago I met this man and needed reconstructive surgery due to a congenital birth defect , I had the surgery I was only 16 at the time and he gave me a life I never thought was possible and in time I went onto have 3 healthy children , which I may not have had, if it had not been for the great work of this doctor , after my children I needed more surgery and once again he helped me when I was 26 years old, he made a difference in my life and i for one will be eternally grateful for his expertise and willingness to help.

Left me high and dry no plan - under urology vulnerability for 4 years no further forward in fact I’m worse than when I arrived here.if I was still in early stage of care here the operation I need would be done but funding and the fact that they can’t Bill my ccg as I’m out of area as I’ve been under uclh for so long - albeit not dr mundy for the whole time. Sadly he has only to,d us what we already knew waste of our time just to make it look like he’s done something. If you don’t do what he suggests he just sends the letter of discussion and leaves you in limbo. I require surgery but he is vague and not up front and honest. If only he took into account quality of life all implications the cost of medication equipment vs surgery and trying to resolve the issue and get my life back and working again. it’s not been too long to fix the issue got time dates wrong. We had to find out ourselves what needs doing as he never said other than it would be complex surgery never suggested who could do it.

Saw our family relative before covid was going to help and could see how highly charged the situation was and how desperate we as a family was he promised he would do his best to help sadly he didn’t only telling us what we already knew and sAdly no plan or treatment he isn’t principled it’s his way or no way and that’s it. There are good consultants and drs out there he isn’t one of them sadly.

On seeing dr mundy with a family member he said he would help our relative sadly it’s turned out into a waste of time not only this he has only told us what we already know and hasn’t tried anything a utter waste of time. He is power mad it’s his way or no way nothing else matters he isn’t patient orientated and has a poor bed side manner. There are some good consultants out there he isn’t one of them sadly.

Poor consultant doesn’t listen to patient in fact he’s patronising doesn’t seem to deal with complex big surgery and doesn’t explain himself a poor so called reconstruction urologist even though he’s not prepared to do surgery - also doesn’t take all factors into account very judgemental and unhelpful appears out of touch of latest treatment
