Dr Osborne performed challenging surgery on me with his team , which there where to extend my life & it’s quality, He took time with several of his colleagues to take time to see me after surgery which I found reassuring., he communicated on a human level .

I would like to sincerely thank Dr Alan Osborne and his team for successfully removing my gallbladder on the 25/10/2021, i was very apprehensive as i thought there might be some complications but before the operation Dr Osborne was very reassuring and put my mind at ease, since the operation i haven't felt this good in years i would not hesitate in recommending Dr Osborne.

Mr Osborne was great. He talked to you like he genuinely cared and wanted to ensure you received the best outcome. He made sure to follow up and check in and added personal touches which is nice to see. I would absolutely recommend him if you are in need.

I had a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy at Southmead Hospital this week, this was carried out as a day case surgery. This is the second operation that Mr Alan Osbourne has carried out on me in the last 12 Months. From the consultation right up to the operation I felt very comfortable that I was in safe hands and that I knew exactly what to expect. Very friendly team. My first operation was a Sleeve Gastrectomy in October 2017 and I am pleased to say I have lost nearly 8 stone. I have seen Alan several times since my initial surgery where I have discussed my concerns and I have made decisions about my treatment following his advice. The Tier 4 Bariatric Team are fantastic and deserve a mention in this review as they all play a big part especially Alex.

Had gastric Sleeve as private patient - Highly recommend

I chose Dr Osborne following recommendation from a friend who had the same surgery. After research I booked in for a consultation. Dr Osborne was fantastic he answered all of my questions and gave me a lot of information and helped me to understand why I’d always struggled with weight loss. My surgery day was 15 March and I can honestly say I was not remotely nervous just excited for my future. The after effects of course are uncomfortable as with any surgery but Dr Osborne and his team were absolutely fantastic. The care I received was amazing. He even called me in a weekend after I sent a question to put my mind at ease. I have nothing but praise for the pre and post care having had a weigh in and check up today. Dr Osborne will look after me for a year I will have regular dietician check up and bloods to ensure I’m ok. Best thing I ever did and for anyone whose struggling with weight loss contact his team you won’t regret it. Please pass my thanks on to the team of nurses who looked after me throughout the night in HDU on 15 March and to the operating team and ward nurses. Kind regards Lisa

A fantastic experience from beginning to end for a hernia problem and subsequent bi lateral operation. I had a Gastric Sleeve by Alan Osborne, he is a great surgeon, he listened to my concerns and we made clinical decisions together taking into account my needs. He listened and understood my concerns. I totally trust Mr Osborne and would choose him to carry out any other Upper GI surgeries or procedures that may be required in the future.

I had a gastric sleeve procedure with Mr Alan Osborne on 21st June 2017. I would highly recommend Mr Osborne, he made me feel at ease from the very first consultation, he is extremely professional yet down to earth and approachable. I would recommend Mr Osborne to anybody that needed either /both Bariatric surgery or GI surgery as he is very clear in telling you what you need and what he and his team are able to do, The first time i met him i came away trusting him as he was very honest in what was possible and what was not, we spoke at great length about my surgery and he told me all of the down sides and listened to all of my questions and worries, , He even sorted things out so that i could still have my operation on the booked date after i had a call from the hospital to say it was cancelled,not sure how he did it but i had another call saying he wanted to keep the date so it went ahead on the booked date.
