We had such a great experience with professor Khalaf from start to finish. He was reassuring, kind and very helpful. To make it even better our first round of IVF was successful and we are now expecting our first baby. Professor Khalaf was always on hand to answer the phone if we had any questions throughout the whole process and even supported us afterwards. I would not hesitate to return to Professor Khalaf in the future for any of our needs.

I had a myomectomy performed by Professor Khalaf and after meeting him, my partner and I felt very reassured and confident to go ahead with the procedure. He was very informative, took his time to explain everything and answer all questions. Procedure went very well, bleeding has reduced significantly and the scar from incision can hardly be seen. If you're thinking of having the procedure, I would highly recommend him. It also helps that his Assistant, Tina is very helpful, organised and just a pleasure to deal with. I have two favourite consultants and Professor Khalaf is one of them!

Prof. Khalaf was amazingly supportive throughout . He stayed positive and kept encouraging me. I failed my first and was successful in the second go. Even post transfer, he was advising me with follow up care until 6 weeks. I am glad to be his patient.

I was seen by Professor Khalaf as a private patient at Guy's Hospital for IVF. After undergoing fertility treatment for several years and a few failed IVF cycles at another clinic, we arranged to see Professor Khalaf who managed to fit us in very quickly. I felt instantly that I could trust the decisions he made for us, I felt the other clinic we had tried were treating based on trial and error but professor Khalaf took into consideration how I had reacted to previous cycles and the decision on which treatment to use was evidence-based, we got pregnant on the first attempt and now have a beautiful baby boy. I cannot thank Professor Khalaf enough for making the process so smooth, for being a call or text away no matter what time of day and for dealing with all my anxieties even after embryo transfer, truly an amazing doctor and I would most highly recommend.

I had a private myomectomy operation performed by Dr Khalaf in June 2021. I had spoken to other private consultants and they were not 100% confident in the work and mentioned there was a risk of rupture. I said this to Dr Khalaf when we had our video call to discuss my condition. I sent all the scans to his secretary and she booked me in for the operation within a month. She was very helpful and made things easier and kept us updated on every step of the way. Dr Khalaf explained that the procedure was nothing to worry about. I had delayed having the surgery for several years as was worried it may affect my ability to conceive ( if there was a rupture I was told by other consultants I would need a hysterectomy). He said he was certain this would not happen. The operation didn’t take long. Once I was awake dr Khalaf checked on me to make sure I was doing Ok and explained he had removed 25 fibroids! He said I needed rest and to take upto six weeks off. After 3 weeks I returned to the hospital for a follow up. He checked my incision and said that it was healing very well. You can barely see the scar now. Consequently, my bleeding has reduced on average from 20-25 days a month (including spotting throughout the month), to 4-5 days of normal bleeding (no spotting). As I was feeling fine, I returned to work the following week. Dr Khalaf has changed my life. I was in near constant pain, fear and anxiety because of my fibroids. Thankfully, he performed an amazing job and I can now lead a normal life. Thank you so much Dr Khalaf and your team. I will be returning in January for the next phase of my journey, with his team to start IVF.
