Mr Garde was a great find for my ankle problem and his expetise and consideration to my problems as a person aged in my late 70's - early 80's are making sure that I am still very mobile.

I had full knee replacement surgery in December 2020 after a short time I started having problems. After physiotherapy and other things I had to have another operation on the same knee November 2021. Since then more pain and problems informed Mr Garde in May 2021referred to yet another specialist after two cancelled appointments in July one at very short notice. I have been given various excuses such as no longer a patient of Mr Garde not seeing any NHS patients any longer , referred to a hospital in Milton Keynes I have checked no such referral. I have not been signed off by Mr Garde he has a duty of care to help me. I am in great pain my knee is swollen and I am having difficulty walking. I have tried contacting Mr Garde without success I did not expect this kind of service from The Manor Hospital Bedford

i had a full right hip replacement at the Manor Hospital Biddenham.Mr Garde is a very pleasant gentleman who I immediately felt at ease with and he made me feel better about having the operation.i had the operation on 23-3-19.unfortunately it was not a success,withinn a month the new hip joint came loose inside my hip bone.i was taken to Bedford General Hospital by ambulance i where i stayed for nearly two weeks culminating in having the entire hip joint removed and another complete hip joint fitted by a different surgeon.

I was initially treated by Mr Garde privately and then at a later date as an NHS patient. He was professional, listened to me and got me the help I needed by referring me on to a different specialist.
