I am post op now so I feel confident to write this review. Mrs Behrens was recommended to me by my sister who has had three children so I knew I was in good hands and the trust was there. I would say on first impressions at my consultation Mrs Behrens definitely put me at ease as I was really nervous. Mrs Behrens has a very professional approach by that I mean she is polite, calm, not too chatty keeping small talk to a minimal and happy to answer any questions I had. My surgery was minor luckily but the nature of it being a gynaecological one meant I wanted to be put at ease and to feel safe. Mrs Behrens did both those things. I had a good experience with this doctor throughout. I hope this review helps.

My Doctor referred me to see Mrs Renee Behrens nearly 2 years ago due to some difficulties I was having following the menopause. Renee was extremely understanding and following certain recommendations which I tried but with little success it was decided that I would have an operation. Thank goodness I had Renee as my consultant. Unfortunately, following my operation I took longer to recover than was hoped. Renee saw me through this tricky stage of recovery and was just brilliant with all her help and advise. Renee Behrens is an incredibly kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional lady. Thank goodness my Dr referred me to such a special person. Thank you Renee for everything you have done for me.

I first saw Renee behrens at the spire in lordshill in January after having problems for over two years and just being fobbed off by my gp. I was so low and had almost given up on anything being resolved after having to have an iron infusion before my doctor realised just how poorly I was. All I can say is how lovely and caring Renee behrens was with me she sat there listening to me and was so understanding and when I got upset she got me some tissues and said I shouldn’t of had to put up with things as they were. She arranged straight away for tests and within a month I’d had my results and she carried out my hysterectomy. She explained fully what would happen and how I would feel afterwards completely reassuring me also knowing that she was carrying out my operation . Afterwards she came and saw me and told me what she’d done and explained and answered any questions I had and never rushed me at all. I had my follow up apppintment 5 weeks later at the bmi winchester and she was lovely saying how much better I looked and how she was pleased she could help me. All I can say is a big thank you and I would highly recommend Renee behrens and I would never hesitate seeing her again if I needed to

Would I recommend. Absolutely not! Never ever. There are many better doctors. This doctor has left me in a terrible state. She has made me lose confidence in the medical profession. As a gynaecologist you would think that she would understand . NO. She has no interpersonal skills, does not show any care or consideration and would not have the word empathy in her vocabulary. When I saw her she had not read my notes and so was totally unprepared. . She asked me nothing about my health at all. She was not interested. When I was upset she showed no concern. We paid to see her and we were there all of 15minutes. There is no warmth with this doctor. There was no engagement, I , I was simply ‘done to’. I was told what she would do. The worst doctor I have ever seen.
