is an Ophthalmic Surgeon based at the Royal Free London NHS Trust and Associate Director of the RSA global fellowship network as part of the World College of Refractive Surgery. Miss Rampat has excellent patient and colleague feedback. Having trained at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London medical school, she showed an early interest in ophthalmology and organised a research placement at The Wilmer Eye institute, Johns Hopkins, USA. After completing her run-through training in the highly competitive North London Deanery Training Programme, Miss Rampat completed a unique research fellowship at the Rothschild Foundation Hospital (Paris) with Dr Damien Gatinel. This was followed by two years of competitive sub-specialty fellowship training in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital (London) whilst being Chief Fellow both years. Miss Rampat is the author of the Cornea Guidelines within the Moorfields Emergency Guidelines App and is an editing consultant for www.defeatkeratoconus.com. She has several articles published in her areas of interest and has written three book chapters awaiting publication. Miss Rampat specialises in Anterior Segment Surgery including corneal transplants, cataract surgery, glaucoma and refractive surgery, with a special research interest in Artificial Intelligence in Ophthalmology.
