This is my second pregnancy at Peterborough City Hospital and both times I have been under the care of Miss Gumma and I am very happy about that. Miss Gumma is a caring and understanding consultant and ensures that both my husband and I understand everything planned and discussed. She has a very friendly nature which definitely helps me feel more comfortable about the care I receive. At all times the planned care has followed the predicted course which both comforts and reassures me. I only have good things to say about Miss Gumma, and the maternity department as a whole, and would highly recommend her to anybody.

Very pleased all round. Have a lot of confidence in her ability. Listened to my worries and put me at ease. Imparted a kind nature. Informed me very well about the procedure and after care. Had very little pain and discomfort after the operation. Proactive and helpful in obtaining supporting prescriptions from my normal doctor under the NHS.

I met Dr Gumma through a referral for my daughter. I am so glad we were referred to her! She is very pleasent in nature and made myself and my daughter feel very comfortable - explaining the processes and what was to happen. There was a slight complication after my daughter's surgery and Dr Gumma was amazing. She came (after a full days surgery!) Back down to recovery to spend time with myself and my daughter, she went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was comfortable, even phoning colleagues to double check she had covered all bases. She even left her personal contact details with the nurses at the front desk so they could call her directly should the issues get worse. I was stunned at her level of care. I am so greatful for her expertise and caring nature. All was well with my daughter, Dr Gumma did an amazing job. I would be more then happy to recommend her to any one else. Thank you Dr Gumma.

Very professional lady, but also very approachable and easy to talk to. We felt we could trust her. She was very thorough and checked anything she thought might be an issue. Gave us information but we always felt able to ask any questions we had and Ms Gumma always answered them fully. Ms Gumma gave us a great deal of confidence that all would be well. Ms Gumma was a very pleasant person to deal with and always treated us well. It helped us throughout the pregnancy knowing we were under Ms Gumma's care. Thank you Ms Gumma!
