I have seen Dr Barber on a few occasions. He is always very approachable and listens carefully to what you have to say. He always looks at you and not at the computer (which so many doctors do these days). He will take time to explain in full any diagnosis. He reminds me of the "old school" doctors that we had at this surgery in the earlier days. I would recomend him to anyone. His manner is gentle and careing.

Dr Syed Barbar is an excellent very professional clinician. He is the Dr. In this practice I prefer to see. He obviously understands his patient's anxiety and has the old style "bedside manner" which many in his profession sadly lack. His manner of explanation cannot be faulted and also, of course, his medical knowledge is invaluable. I highly recommend him in every way and have reason to be very grateful to him for his professionalism and time he gives to you in an increasingly demanding time for the medical profession.

He listened and looked at me when I spoke. He explained any related issues. He examined me and arranged various tests to ensure that I had no major underlying issues. On my second meeting he explained the results of the tests and requested that I see him again in a few weeks. I like the continuity of the same doctor unless one of the practice "specialists" is required. I did feel that he was more pressed for time on my second appointment. The surgery was very busy.
