Dr Stuart Short

The care I receive from Dr Short is very good. He listens carefully and I never feel rushed during a consultation with him. I think he is the best doctor at the surgery. However, Flitwick Surgery continues to use a unfriendly telephone system which charges the earth, the reception staff are often abrupt and unhelpful. The surgery phone line closes for lunch and the hours the surgery is open does not provide easy access to the majority of people who live in Flitwick, which is a commuter town. The out-of-hours service, when I have used it, is as good as useless. You wait for a doctor to call you back only to be told to attend A&E for what could be dealt with by a GP. The surgery has a good website which it should further develop.
