Dr Sofia Vrizidou was amazing. On 18 July 2022, she performed an ultrasound guided injection of my Morton's Neuroma and osteoarthritis (Hallux Rigidus) in my big toe: two injections into my right foot. I barely felt a thing! I've had this procedure done before (privately and not by Dr Vrizidou) and it was really, really painful. I was really surprised when she'd finished - and actually said "Is that it?" She was super-quick (which was fabulous because she didn't spend loads of time with needles in my foot!) but went straight to the source of the pain. She recommended I stay off the foot - which was terrific advice - and once the cortisone swelling had gone down, I've been pain-free in my foot for the first time in years and years. She was really kind and listened to me; although she apologised for having to make me wait a little while, I didn't feel rushed and - honestly - she is well worth waiting for. Dr Vrizidou really understands foot pain and shared with me that she also had Morton's Neuroma: it was a terrific relief because I felt she absolutely understood how damaging foot pain can be and how it can restrict how I live my life. Dr Vrizidou was utterly professional and I would definitely want to be seen by her in future if I ever need an ultrasound-guided injection. Absolutely brilliant and a diamond.
