Dr Siske Struik is an instantly likeable person, We first met her nine months ago when she took over the care of our son from his previous consultant. From our first meeting it became obvious that Dr Struik is a very caring paediatrician, as well as being very knowledgeable in her field she has a special way with children that puts them at ease and makes visits to the hospital less stressful. Our son has complex medical needs and is under the care of four hospitals , Dr Struik is the linchpin who liases between the numerous departments involved. Dr Struik is usually contactable and has returned our calls on her day off and annual leave, if Dr Struik is unable to answer a query she will consult with someone who can and get back to you as soon as possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Struik to another parent, we are most grateful that she is looking after our son.
