Sian Griffith is a wonderful caring consultant I was so sad to hear she’s retiring? She’s been so kind and listens to all your concerns and makes you feel so much safer in her hands treatment wise il be sorry not to have her as my consultant anymore

After some 45 years of receiving care from the NHS as an insulin dependent diabetic my brief encounter with Sian Giffith today, 21 March 2018, at Horsham Hospital was a revelation. The best example of how a consultant should diagnose and set a plan for a patients treatment I have ever experienced. Immediately got to the key issues and acknowledged my desire to not take medication unless as a last resort. We (note the 'collective' as I felt part of the final decision) arrived at a plan that left me confident and looking forward to dealing with sleepless nights caused by shoulder issues. Well done Sian!
