i arrived with a cut that wasn’t healing for over a week and was increasing pain so i decided to go to get it checked out just in case of infection . I showed the lady/nurse and she said “is that it ? is that all you’ve come for?”. This personally made me feel me silly and insecure when i really was just checking incase it was an infection and i felt like i was being judged. Just suggesting improvement on respect.

Whilst the consultant I saw, Sian Griffith, was excellent the appointments clerk for Rheumatology was rude and dismissive of what the consultant had asked me to do five minutes earlier - book physio at Horsham. She insisted this was not possible and referred me to East Surrey Hospital. Can clerical staff over-rule the instructions of a consultant?

I'm sure all of the above would have been fine, unfortunately i was not able to get my mother upstairs to see the Dr due to the lift being out of action. !! Now need to wait for another appointment.

This is in respect of the blood sampling service. Open from 8 am. If you want to be front of the queue get there at 7.15 am by the time 8.00 comes there are no chairs a a queue to the end of the corridor. Get there after 8.30 - 9.00 am and you will not park. This has been the same for the last 10 times I have been there.

My experience was fantastic. The nurses were all very friendly and professional. As this is a minor injuries unit, I did not have to wait too long for my x-ray which is why my GP practice advised me to go there.

I was sure I had broken a bone in my foot. Sure enough I had. I waited no more than five minutes for an XRay and even less time for the results. I was given a support boot and crutches and good advise on how to rest the foot as much as possible. I forgot to mention, as I could hardly walk a nurse came to the entrance and asked if I needed a wheel chair. I found the service and treatment absolutely brilliant I couldn't have asked for better. Surely , if equipped they could do small operations at this hospital instead of going all the way to Worthing or St Richards. I thannk you all very much for your care. Lynne Slack
