I feel very fortunate to have been dealt with by Dr Shakur on a few occasions now, both in person & on the telephone. She is very thorough & has helped me with a number of medical issues. I feel she has been professional, sympathetic & reassuring in her dealings with me & I am very grateful for her support.

This Doctor all the time we getting appointment she try to ignore the problem She's doesn't like to listen and look to you when she talks Not professional I hope one day she doesn't need any help

Listening skills are deficient, she misheard some information but did not bother to confirm it. Pretty dismissive, lacking in providing clear options and did not seem interested in me as a patient or person for that matter. I have been grappling with something that is pretty debilitating for me for the last 2 years and I felt belittled.

Conversely to the other review I have found Dr Shakur kind, honest, thoughtful and supportive of the multiple issues I have sought advice about. I have built a relationship with Dr Shakur and now that she knows me she is able to care for my multiple needs and I feel that she is 'on my side'.

I really adore this surgery and have been a patient for over eight nows. I've never been treated so dismissively by a practitioner like I did with Dr a Shakur. A slap dash flippant attitude, didn't listen to me and was most abrupt. I waited almost 2 weeks to secure the appointment and waited. Around 40 minutes to be seen and then I was rushed out like I was a second class citizen. A complete diservice to the practice, who are fantastic service providers. I'll stick to Dr Eggleton, Dr Reader , and the fabulous nurses. I left the surgery in tears. Don't make the same mistake I made .
