Dr Sheeba Taneja is a highly experienced consultant radiologist with specialist interest in breast imaging. She provides mammographic, ultrasonographic and MRI breast assessment. Having initially trained in medicine in Delhi, India, she went on to do her MD in Radiology in India. As life brought her to UK shores, she started of with a masters in Nuclear Medicine at King's College, London, for the duration of which, she was at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital. She went on to complete her FRCR at Leicester and the Sheffield University Hospitals and took up her first consultant post at the Nottingham Breast institute, giving her a chance to work with some of the foremost and finest breast radiologists in the country. A growing family brought her south to Milton Keynes University Hospital, where she is currently Director of Breast Screening. Here, she works with a closely knit team of Oncoplastic breast surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, breast care nurses, mammographers health care assistants and super -efficient admin team, who she is very grateful for and proud of. She strongly believes in the power of team approach to holistic care of patients and is a core member of the breast multidisciplinary team.
