I have seen and been involved with many doctors and consultants throughout my life so far but never have I, until the last month or two, been so impressed with the quality of care and attention I have had from Dr Sarah MacKay. I first went to see her as a Locum in my local practice about two months ago. I was her last patient of what had been a very long and tiring day but she took at least 45 minutes to explore my concerns, read my notes and make her own, examination and question me carefully and extensively. Her treatment plan was comprehensive and covered all the possibilities in a staged approach to getting to the root of the problem safely and without risk of any emergency arising. She is also so warm, sensitive and genuinely caring. This is no 'bedside manner' - she is someone who is totally driven to put herself out by going the extra mile. I cannot recommend her highly enough and I am so gutted that she is not a permanent member of the team at my local practice.

I was seen Dr Sarah Mackay at Heathcot Medical Practiceis. She is friendly, kind, thoughtful and has the gift of making me feel that I am not only her patient but also her friend. She has all extra time for me! She has gone out of her way to help me and provide extra valuable advice. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I took my daughter in for an appointment and it was the first time meeting DR Mackey, as soon as we walked in she was brilliant with my daughter made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed. She is amazing with children. She was very thorough when checking over my daughter and explained everything she was doing in detail and at the same time she kept my daughter very entertained and relaxed. This has got to be the best GP experience we have had. I left the clinic feeling very calm and happy with the service and prescribed treatment Dr Mackey had given us. It's such a shame she is not based full time at the clinic. The NHS should be proud to have doctors like her.
