I am 42 years old woman who struggled with acne all my adult life I have cystic acne scars all over my face, chest, back and thighs. I have tried all anti acne antibiotics and treatments available via my GP on NHS Nothing worked I went to see Dr Hunasehally in Kent/Sussex dermatology unit. The appointment was extremely brief, and I was told that I didn’t have a medical problem and all was down to my dirty fingernails apparently!!! So according to “This so called Doctor” I have been scratching my perfectly good skin with dirty fingernails for years!?. In that case shouldn’t I have been referred to physiatrist for self harm straight away? My feel is when you try to see a consultant dermatologist they all are private before they NHS So they try to fob you off because NHS dermatologist is free (tricky to get it through)

A rare ability, these days to take an interest in his patients and make one feel individual, understood and respected. Has the complete knowledge in his field to give his patients confidence and reassurance. When I was under his care, I felt I could 100% trust his judgement. All this allows one to feel looked after in what can quite often be quite worrying circumstances, but at the same time he is honest and one feels one knows where they stand when being treated by or under his instructions.
