I am 42 years old woman who struggled with acne all my adult life
I have cystic acne scars all over my face, chest, back and thighs.
I have tried all anti acne antibiotics and treatments available via my GP on NHS
Nothing worked
I went to see Dr Hunasehally in Kent/Sussex dermatology unit.
The appointment was extremely brief, and I was told that I didn’t have a medical problem and all was down to my dirty fingernails apparently!!!
So according to “This so called Doctor” I have been scratching my perfectly good skin with dirty fingernails for years!?. In that case shouldn’t I have been referred to physiatrist for self harm straight away?
My feel is when you try to see a consultant dermatologist they all are private before they NHS
So they try to fob you off because NHS dermatologist is free (tricky to get it through)
