I was very fortunate to have Dr Amsler as my consultant, on my recent stay in pilgrims hospice Ashford. Admitted needing pain relief management, that not one up till now could seem to do. Dr Amsler was like a pure breath of fresh air. She actually listened and understood my condition, so refreshing. Not just on a physical level but on a well being level also. She is so so caring and explained everything so clearly that I understood everything, not only all that but took the time to help me understand my recent stem cell transplant for cancer, not in her remit but made me see the positives in a brand new light. Absolutely the best doctor I have ever seen, she is marvellous.

Dr Amsler was fantastic,she listened to all of our concerns and worries and instantly put our minds at rest. She explained everything clearly to us regarding medication we would be taking home along with a plan of action for the future.

I was introduced to Pia in Pilgrims Hospice Ashford ~ she listened to everything I said, she was so easy to talk to, she explained how my new new medication would work so that I understood completely ~ so patient in answering any questions and queries that I had ~ I felt full confidence in her and I was absolutely right to do so, my diagnosis and pain relief were spot on, I immediately felt the benefit of her treatment and I was so very grateful to her as I had been in severe horrible pain for quite some time ! She is very patient, knowledgeable without doubt in her field of medicine, friendly and professional ~ fabulous bed side manner, it was an absolute pleasure to be treated by her with her kindness and support I left Pilgrims a new woman ! Thank you so very much !!

at Pilgrims Hospice Ashford

Dr Amsler met my wife, Linda, at the Ashford Pilgrims Hospice on 1 June. Linda was extremely ill. Dr Amsler spoke with us all, treating Linda, who was the focal point of discussion, with the dignity and compassion, she deserved. Sadly Linda passed away a few days later , but I shall remember Dr Amsler as a positive , kind, and respectful doctor. Thank you.

Interduced herself, extremely polite and upfront and honest, and very knowledgeable with any of my questions. I found her to be very comfortable to be around, ie.. held my hand when I got emotional, and was not in any rush to leave until I felt comfortable with all of her questions and answers
