I have worked with Dr Puliyel and find him to be very thorough with his care. He teaches junior doctors and the nursing staff at every opportunity and this is incredibly helpful. I find patients and relatives usually like his care but on some unfortunate circumstances he needs to explain why treatment should not be given for many reasons especially when caring with the elderly and this can be taken the wrong way as patronising, unfortunately in elderly care this can happen often but I'm sure, after working with Dr Puliyel for 5 years now, this is not the case, he is honest with his treatment plans and honest with patients and relatives when he and his team feel that certain treatments should not be continued or started.

Rude and patronising. Uncomunicative and abrasive. This Dr has a very self-important and dismissive attitude. Unlucky for you if you are under his care or visiting someone in his ward !
