We will never be able to thank Dr Garside enough for the care, kindness and compassion shown to both our mother Ann and ourselves when she was admitted to HASU earlier this month. Dr Garside allowed us as a family to visit and say our goodbyes and for that I will be forever grateful. To loose such a fit, healthy, vibrant lady so suddenly and without warning was shocking for us all and I feel would have been so much more unbearable were her Grandchildren and children not able to see her before she passed. Thank you Mark.

Dr Garside was very efficient, clear in his diagnosis, decisive in the actions to be taken and gave a clear path for treatment. He listen to my explanations of symptoms, asked the right questions and came to a clear conclusion of diagnosis or actions on further tests to gain a clearer diagnosis. He was reassuring, empathetic and sympathetic.

Although I wasn't too happy with my diagnosis I felt very satisfied with my examination , tests which were carried out after the poor treatment I had received 2 weeks ago at Northumbria Specialist Care Hospital where they failed to diagnose my condition and sent me home with no accurate information about my condition. To fail to diagnose a stroke to me is quite a failure. Dr Garside was much more competent.
