I had a full hip replacement due to a cancellation at wansbeck hospital 30th August
All the staff were excellent and highly proffesional from the sugeon and his team anythetist surgical staff after care and nursing staff
Everthing was explained well and the standard of care was first class
The catering in the hospital was also very good
The staff and hospital are a credit to the nhs

I was admitted for my Operation as a morning patient, everyone was well prepared and ready to get underway, the nurses were helpful and gave me all the help and information I needed. Post Op Iwas well looked after before being taken up to the ward for an overnight stay, again all the staff were helpful caring and friendly, Mr Kasis and the Anaesthetist came to the ward to check everything was ok. I couldn’t speak more highly of all the staff

The staff in both Wansbeck General Hospital and North Tyneside General Hospital were lovely very helpful and understanding. I was only a day patient on both occasions but I was well looked after

There are a couple of nurses that need to brush up on their social skills but in general this hospital is above average in all the departments i have visited .
