After 6 years I miss diagnosis. And seeing 3 other consultants she was the only one to take me seriously m ordered tests and MRI within six.weeks I was diagnosed with Myethina Gravis. I'm so sad she has since left the RBH she will be sadly missed

I saw Dr Kassim as result of loss of dexterity and feeling in hands and arms. She was an extremely patient listener and seemed very thorough in physical examination and questioning. Following various other tests she wrote comprehensively to my GP (copy to myself) but the matter finished there. Diagnosed as suffering some upper spinal degeneration I am now wondering a) whether or not there is some cure or treatment to alleviate my condition and b) who should arrange / instigate same if there is. However am satisfied that Dr Kassim did all she could to diagnose condition.

After seeing many gp' s for years I was finally referred to neurology, were I saw Dr Kassim, she listen in detail and wrote down in detail all my symptoms and problems. She them requested a full set of bloods and an mri. The mri was mainly all clear but the bloods came back with very worrying concerns. She was straight on to my gp and various departs of the hospitals and I was see by consultants in many different departments within days. She found things wrong with me that my gp's should have found out years ago! Amazing
