Dr Matharu is by far the best doctor I have met. He is very knowledgeable about headaches and hugely experienced in dealing with complex patients. His bedside manner is excellent and he is very professional. I have seen numerous neurologists before i saw him and he quickly ascertained that I have a rare headache syndrome (SUNCT) and got me onto the correct treatments quickly. I'm pain free for the first time in 10 years thanks to this doctor.

The best dr I have ever seen. Kind, helpful, informative. He accurately picked up health problems when others would would not listen and refered me to see the right specialists. Perhaps the best dr I have seen. Highly recommend!

Been with dr mathru since 2009 he is the most fantastic dedicated doctor ive ever met .He will always be going somewhere but for himself to find new things that have come out all over rhe world to see if he can get people on triles to see if out will help .or a new drug this is on top of his very busy clinics . Its just none stop .he always and his lovely staff they always get back as soon as they can . If they know we struggling they keep intouch to make sure we ok which is great .Dr m and his team always will do thier upmost to try new drugs if he thinks right for you .this Doctor devotes his time to try and find thing vvill help us with this cripaling pain and all that gose with it .i thank from the bottom of my heart for having Dr Mathru at the National to fight our corner look for new treatments and do all the clinic . The National stepped in and dr mathru and his team been there for me and so so many more people . The one way to improve the treatment is for the govements to see the talented doctors and nurses and the hospitals and give them the money our NHS need .we need to beable to do more triles and improve the wards so we can have more beds . We loosing our trained nurses they going abroad because they make twice as much money its not because they want to its because they have to someone needs to sort this out

Dr Mathru and i go way back i think i was one of his 1st patients at the National. This Doctor is so dedicated to helping his patients before anything hisself and his staff have my deepest respect they always go the extra mile if they think it will help your condion . I had lost all faith with doctors and when doctor M came and told me he knew what i had i just sat there he said you dont beleave me i replyed no .This man gave me a pice of paper and put on it if my diagnosis is wrong i will hand my notice in i still have the paper . I have put my trust in this man and his team since and he never lets me down .He is so devoted to finding things that will cure or ease his pations suffering . I say to the National hospital you have a wonderful hospital and staff but you have one of the most dedecated doctors ive been treated by and ive had a lot but Dr M ive been with him since2009 and he never ever done nothing but his best . The one way for improvment is for the govements open thier eyes and see what fantastic doctors nurses we have and get the money in the NHS to carry on there fantastic work Mrs Pauline Woodland .

Dr Matharu epitomises the very best qualities of an excellent physician and a truly compassionate human being . His technical expertise and experience is expansive , he seeks the very best for his patients and perseveres till the end. He truly helped our son with his immensely painful migraine headaches and gave him a reason to smile . Only wish more such doctors were dedicated like him . We recommend him highly. Archita and Koushik
