Dr Magdi El-Omar saw my partner after he had a heart attack and stent fitted in an emergency situation to review a repeat TTE scan and explain everything to us. We have had contact with quite a few consultants and surgeons in the private sector over the many years we’ve been alive (over 140 between us!), but Dr El-Omar is outstanding. He is professional, thorough, meticulous, knowledgeable, expert, caring, understanding and kind, and if you are looking for a top of the range interventional cardiologist we both have no reservation in recommending him unreservedly.

I myself am a physician and had to find an interventional cardiologist to perform my mothers angiogram. I analyzed all the published NHS data on outcomes and Dr. El-Omar by far had the best objective data results in the Manchester area. My mother has subsequently been a patient of his for the last 5 years of so where Dr. El-Omar has performed 2 angiograms (and one with a stent placement) Not only is he technically astounding, he's just an all round nice and empathetic guy. Some physicians can be arrogant and have questionable bedside manner. I personally am fine with this as long as they are extremely competent. However, Dr. El-Omar has the rare combination of being in the top 1% of physicians from a technical perspective as well as in my humble opinion a top 1% physician from a bed side manner perspective. He is my first choice cardiologist that I send friends and family members to. If needed, I would personally also see him.

I was trained by Dr El-Omar in interventional cardiology and I can confirm that I have no conflict of interest. Working alongside many interventional cardiologist and seeing how different they work, I believe that Dr El-Omar tops them all by a vast margin. My mother needed advanced cardiac care including an angiogram and Stent. I am also a physician and analyzed the outcomes data for all the cardiologists in north manchester. Dr. El-Omar has seen a lot of patients and has great outcomes (ie. a very small % of complications) Not only does he have outstanding bedside manner, his outcomes data is the best. I had shortness of breath and pain across my back and down both arms. I was seen by Dr El-Omar and he was fantastic, I was booked in and after the procedure I had to have a stent fitted as one of my arteries was blocked. Would definitely recommend Dr El-Omar with no hesitation. Extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant, looked after me!
