I was referred to Magda after my diagnosis of Non-Hodgkind Lymphoma near my bowel with spread to the lining of my abdomen was about to be confirmed. She came to see me on the ward .i Had been an inpatient for 10 days, and presented all her thoughts and gave me alk the data and explained the way forward even before the diagnosis was absolutely confirmed. When it was, she offered me the choice of treatment there or regerral to another hospital. Having thought about it overnight, when i suggested to her rehistrar that I might want to transfer to the Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer centre, the transfer was arranged and happened within 24 hours. She is a great doctor, open, honest, human and inspires patients with difficult diagnoses ( we'll, this one at least) to feel fully informed and confident. If I could have stayed under her care and still taken advantage of the greater cancer-orientated facilities at RMH, I would have.
