After suffering severe shortness of breath, I rang the surgery, I was told a doctor will ring you. After a phone call Dr Baverstock said she would see me. She asked how long I had a heart murmur, I said I did’nt know I had one. The Dr wrote me a letter for cardiac admissions. On arrival I collapsed and was admitted to CCU with a cardiac output of 19. After spending 5 days in CCU, I had a pacemaker fitted. If Dr Baverstock had not picked up my heart problem, the doctor at St Richards said I would not have made another 12 hours
