Because you can never get an appointment for the next day. They tell you to phone on the day you would like an appointment but I have never been able to get an appointment it usually 3 weeks time. The surgery was never like this before covid but I think this is a very poor reason am I'm still told it is covid for this reason which I think it is very poor as all other places don't have this problem.

Getting a face to face appointment with a doctor within a short time frame will always be a challenge because of pressures on the system, but options have always been available appropriate to my needs.

Poor Flansham Surgery is extremely short staffed, but are hanging on with amazing levels of service - if you can get an appointment.

It's taken a while to get to see a doctor with a condition I developed some weeks' ago that was not solved by the paramedic's diagnosis or treatment. After much effort and patience I managed to get an appointment with a locum who was lovely, thorough and gave me a prescription for a successful treatment.

I am not knowledgeable enough about the practice to be able to answer this except to say that there needs to be easier appointment access with more flexibility over the week.
