I could not expect any better care, provision of information and organisation of tests and treatments. Dr Cooke obviously cares very seriously about her patients and I would not wish to have any other consultant looking after me.

Dr Cooke is a caring and kind doctor who has explained very well all my treatment so far. She always has a smile and I can ask her questions, unlike some doctors I’ve met in the past who make you feel so rushed! She is reassuring in her manner, and I feel good that I have her on my side.
The whole team at Macmillan centre work very hard with us cancer patients.
My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have designated staff who you could talk to in emotional times, when you’re feeling down and worried.

Having been diagnosed very suddenly with non hodkins lymphoma I was soon receiving chemotherapy and after 6 treatments and scans etc I was given the all clear. obviously there is no guarantee it will not return but I would not have reached this stage without the care I received under Dr Cooke and her dedicated "crew."

Dr Cooke is a kind professional clinician.
She is very knowledgeable and a good listener.
Her consultations are straight talking and she is factual pulling no punches.
She has a reassuring, smiling persona which makes the consultation easy.
She cared for me very well when I was very ill with acute renal injury and a serious GI bleed.I would have no reservations about recommending her to oncology patients and colleagues alike.
