He argued with my wife over pain relief and gave her incorrect information on the stages of pain relief. He told my wife she had no quality of life and was withdrawing treatment. After she broke down sobbing he acted petulantly and agreed further treatment. We transferred to Bart's immediately after. We wrote to Broomfield Hospital and complained. We were told by the chief exec he would never work for MEHT again.

I was diagnosed in 2009 with Hodgkins Lymphoma and was treated by Dr. Anghel at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire where I also took part in the Rathl Trial. He was exceptionally thorough in everything that he did and any issues I had with other health problems such as a painful right hip, he was happy to arranged for x rays and scans to be carried out to determine the reason for the problems and went through the results with me when I went back to see him for my next consultation. He was always very conscientious and I felt completely satisfied with every aspect of my treatment. All questions were answered in a constructive way. I was very sorry when he left, as even though my treatment had finished I was unable to see him when I went back for my regular check ups and none of the other consultants are any where near as thorough. I wish him well in all that he does :)
