Great experience. Helpful and attentive. Took time to explain everything I need.

I had previously been happy with Dr Teasdale's advice since I moved to Caterham. However I was disappointed in her last communication with me. I have recently had a medical circumcision and as such have to refrain from any form of sexual activity for 30 days. No sex, no masturbation, nothing. I asked Dr Teasdale if there was anything I could take to ease the tension and irritability that I am bound to feel, as any male probably would, through not having any release for that long. She talked about the physical reasons for not indulging in sexual behaviour, avoiding injury etc of which I am perfectly aware and did not ask about. She said just use pain management which again is not what I'm talking about. I am aware that in the trenches during the Works Wars men were given bromide tablets to 'keep down the urges', and I just wondered if there was a modern version of this available. I have infinite respect for the female doctors at the practice, Dr Perera examined me for the initial issue and was brilliant about it all. But I wonder if on this occasion it will take the opinion of a male doctor, who can empathise as well as sympathise with what I am talking about, to provide a solution

Yesterday I first saw Ed the Medical Student with Dr Teasdale coming up after he'd asked loads of questions and examined me. He was very thorough and I had total confidence in him. Dr Teasdale then came in, listened to what Ed had found and asked a few questions. Between them they came up with a plan of what would be required, which I'm happy with. At no time was there a rush to finish the appointment and I must have been in there for 45 minutes at least. Both were very caring and helpful. Wonderful care and attention. Thank you both. Julie

Totally caring, never makes you feel like I have a time slot, she may run late but that's fine as sometimes things happen and you more time.. I am happy to wait as I know when I needed more time it was no issue...

As indicated above the doctor listened to the symptoms and after examining a urine sample was able to ascertain the cause of my problem and prescribed anti-biotics. In conclusion the new appointment system, in my experience, has proved a success and the practice seems a better environment.

I was seen by a GP at the practice who was unsure of my condition, she asked Dr Teasdale for advice. Dr Teasdale, listened to my history, examined me, and suggested treatment. She the made an appointment to see her in two days time. Two days later we went through the same proceducer, listened, examined and suggested alternative treatment. I was included in the decision making Dr Teasdale then made an appointment for three days for a review. I was now on the road to recovery, feeling much better. What is impressive for me Dr Teasdale, moves her chair from the desk to look at you face on whist she or I am talking. Listens, gives you options and explains everything so easily. FANTASTIC doctor

I have been to a few GPs at this surgery but never before have I come accross two more understanding and helpful doctors than Dr Teasdale and Dr Weber-McCartney when it comes to mental health and issues with my back. I may never be cured from this nightmare but being listened to, included in my treatment plan, been given alternative details for talking therapy and following up with me via telephone makes me want to try and get better eventhough all I think about is the alternative. Thank you for being caring doctors even with the mimimal time you have with patients
