Since the change in the appointment system, having same day appointments is a great advantage. It's a pleasure to come into the waiting room, far more relaxed.

Following a frustratingly long period of time when it was extremely difficult to get an appointment within a month due to vast number of patients and a booking system which wasn’t working - the surgery has been completely overhauled. It is now easy to get an appointment on the day required or very soon afterwards. The receptionists have always been helpful and pleasant, as have the doctors, but an atmosphere of calm is noticeable. The waiting area isn’t jammed, the awful experience of emergency appointments has been stopped and it is as if the practice has started afresh. So much better.

GPs within the practice may need to be reminded on how to treat people with mental health issues. New appointments system works well. Receptionists are always polite and helpful. Boots next door always give good customer service.

I arrived at the surgery 5 plus minutes early for my appointment on Monday 21st May. There was a very long queue at reception and two receptionists on duty, by the time I was able to check-in I was late for my appointment. This is the beginning of the 2nd week of the new appointment system so I hope the queueing issue will be resolved. On the plus side the waiting room is less crowded and the car park is not continuously full.

New on-line appointments system is great improvement. Previously waited 1.5 hours in 'open surgery', today, booed an appointment at 6:45am for 9am, and saw Dr Lewis at 9am precisely.
