Dr Platt's listening skills aren't great and his manner with me as a patient (on two or three separate occasions) was dismissive. Given the choice, I'd see a different GP at the practice.

I've seen Dr Platt for my 2 years old daughter. She was coughing badly, had temperature, runny nose and bad overall mood for approximately 3 days. He did not even check her throat/ears/lungs, basically he didn't even touch her and in less than a minute the "consultation" ended with the recommendation to give her calpol/nurofon. After few more days, we saw another doctor who prescribed antibiotics after a rigours check.
