Dr Ian Williamson

From my very first consultation with Dr Williamson at Nevill Hall hospital I found him to be highly professional, yet very approachable, explaining every detail of the type of investigation I would need to find out the cause of my condition. He took his time ,allowed me to ask any questions I wanted and answered me honestly and frankly. He arranged for me to have further scans eg lung and MRI and always sent for me once the scans were reported on. To give just one example of how on the ball he was,he organised a PET scan at UHW which I had on a Monday,the same week on the Friday He sent for me to give me the result at his clinic in NHH. I couldn’t have had better care if I paid private, HE restored my believe in the NHS . He is the head of a great team in Nevill Hall (and I am so thankful he does a clinic in NHH ) with both Clinical nurse Specialists Emma Williams and Carol Davies who are also so helpful and caring and not forgetting his more than helpful Secretary who is based at RGH.
