Dr Chris Targett was a breath of fresh air! He had a very friendly manner and is an excellent listener, giving me time to explain my problem whilst also asking helpful and reassuring questions. As a patient with a chronic condition it was wonderful to feel listened too, feel understood and to be consulted about my health and wellbeing. I left my appointment feeling as though my concerns and questions had been addressed and that there is both a plan, and help available, going forward. I will definitely ask for Dr Targett when making future appointments and would recommend him to all my family.

From the moment Dr. Targett introduced himself, I felt immediately at ease. I was given time to explain why I was there and he certainly engaged with everything I was telling him. I did not feel rushed in anyway and was given a choice of which direction I would like to go down. I feel Dr. Targett will be a great asset to the surgery. Thank you.

Dr Chris came out to meet me and shook my hand which I feel was a lovely greeting. I took my three week old daughter to see him as I wasn’t sure what was wrong with her, if anything. He listened to me throughout my appointment and didn’t make me feel like I wasted a time slot. He also gave me good advice. We did go off topic after I saw his Star Wars mug but this just made me feel relaxed. He has a lovely manner with people, and felt very genuine. Hopefully I don’t have to go back to the doctors anytime soon but if I do I hope it is with Dr Chris.

I have been registered at Nunwell Surgery for 15 yrs and Dr Chris Targett is by far the best GP I have ever consulted. He was easy to talk to, listened to my concerns and examined me and gave a clear and confident opinion recommending further tests .
