I have worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist for nearly 9 years. My specialist interest is Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease). I am involved with the development of National Standards for the care of people with IBD and work closely with the patient group CrohnsandColitisUK. I also see patients with a wide variety of bowel related problems including irritable bowel syndrome and difficult or unexplained diarrhoea. I carry out a full range of endoscopic proceedures including colonoscopy.
