Hello. So back last year I went off my legs and my life was terrible. I lost all mobility and I was gaining weight. I was referred to Dr Burns and at the time he was working in Chesterfield Royal Hospital as he works both there and Sheffield.he examined me thoroughly and had me admitted in to the Royal Hallamshire days later with suspicions of a serious illness. Through his help and amazing work I was diagnosed with Acromegaly, a rare disease that effects only 3-4 per million. In top of that I also had a spinal tumour. Both conditions at the same time are extremely rare. This man saved me from paralysis from the chest down as I was only months away from that at the time, without this Doctor I wouldn’t be here today for my children. I owe this man my life. I’m now in full recovery with the Doinal tumour removed and the Acromegaly (Brain Tumour on pituitary gland) being fully treated with surgery upcoming.
