Cared for my father with care and compassion. Even came to visit him in his final days. A lovely man and I am so pleased he was my father's Consultant.

90% of the time Dr Ibrahim is exactly what the other reviewers have said but unfortunately do not get on the wrong side of this man. My husband and I had an unfortunate experience with Dr Ibrahim last year. He didn’t take kindly to the A and E doctor making an earlier appointment with him. He criticised the A and E department. We walked into the appointment full of anxiety having been told my husbands cancer had yet spread again. Dr Ibrahim proceeded to shout at my husband and myself. He was totally out of control. He made my husband and myself cry. I had to try and calm him down. It was the most horrendous appointment of my life. Far worse than the appointment when we were told my husband had cancer. Another time we witnessed him shouting at a nurse, then trying to make a joke of it. We never really trusted Dr Ibriham again. We walked on egg shells every time we had an appointment but felt that as my husbands cancer was terminal it would not be wise to change consultant. When my husband died he did not even get in touch? even though he had been his consultant for over 11 years but others in the medical profession got in touch by telephone or letter who had not been in my husbands journey for as long. He made my husbands last few months more unpleasant due to his attitude

There is an aura surrounding Dr Ibrahim that instills calm, reassurance and confidence. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he deals with you in a direct but comforting manner. It cannot be the easiest of jobs dealing with cancer patients day in ,day out, but Dr Ibrahim deals with me with kindness, and you can feel he is earnest in his concern for his patient. I have spoken to several others at radiotherapy and in the waiting room and no one has anything other than a kind word to say about him. A gentleman and a scholar.

Dr Azman Ibrahim has been my husband's oncologist for 10 years. Back in 2009 we chose Clatterbridge on recommendation and had the luck to be given this wonderful and kind oncologist. Sadly my husband passed away on 10th February 2019 but throughout our cancer journey, the rock in our lives has been Dr Ibrahim. There are no words to describe how amazing this man is. His positivity, gentle manner, humour and humility have made a journey that frankly no-one wishes to take, bearable. He has taken the time to get to know us and particularly enjoyed talking golf - a sport we all shared. He would always call us personally if there was news we needed to know and towards the end, he has been at the end of a phone for my support. I am so grateful that Dr Ibrahim has shared this time with us and gave Dave every treatment possible throughout his journey. He is a truly inspirational man and no! he hasn't paid me to say this!! Keep on making a difference Doc

My wife and I were shattered to learn from a urologist last year that I had prostate cancer. His exact words were that it was definitely cancer as the PSA was 200 and at this level it had probably spread and if it was in the bones that was it!! Two weeks later after MRI and bone scans and then a CT scan I was referred to Dr Ibrahim and saw him almost immediately. To our utter relief after such a harsh, negative initial consultation all scans were clear. I have since had a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Throughout my treatment Dr Ibrahim has been kind and reassuring, has explained everything thoroughly and has given us hope when we thought there was none. We cannot sing his praises highly enough and are so grateful that he took.over my care and treatment. He is a truly special person.
