I had a lumpectomy and an oncology registrar removed my dressing post op without any saline or moisture, set back all the good surgical work and recovery that had been performed. My aftercare nurse and I set upon a 6 weeks of re-dressing healing. She was amazing! She was called Karen.

My name is Barry and 16 months ago I was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. The treatment I received from my GP to Southport Urology hospital was outstanding. My oncologist dr Almerdene from clatterbridge has saved my life, as her treatment has now got my condition stable, thank you just isn't enough. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the staff who has made this possible. We were devastated at the start of the diagnosis but we're given the reassurance that I was treatable and given the confidence to carry on with my life, Thank you all your amazing Barry and Sue

The radiographers and nursing staff at the Wirral Breast Clinic were excellent in the care and treatment during my appointments and surgery. All the staff including the porter on M2 were very kind and friendly and made me feel very at ease before my surgery.

Can't praise this hospital enough. Staff on the admin side were just lovely, warm helpful and knew their stuff so could help when I asked questions. Also, radiographers and admin staff in the breast clinic were exceptional; professional, helpful, put me at ease and were reassuring. When I contacted the unit because my GP had forgotten to refer me there they gave me an appointment within two days fantastic. Whole hospital is really clean, tidy and pleasant to visit.

I was treated at The Breast Centre in Clatterbridge Hospital and cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the treatment I received. From the receptionists to the nursing staff all were pleasant and caring and their attitude helped to make what was a worrying time less stressful. The expertise of the nursing staff and doctors was obvious and combined with their caring manner helped make dealing with a cancer diagnosis as good as it could be. I was given plenty of information, both verbal and in the form of booklets; as well as telephone contact details should I need further clarification of any aspect of treatment. I felt I had choices as to the type of treatment I received and was given the information to enable me to make those choices. I cannot recommend this hospital highly enough.
