Dr Anna Babb is a long term colleague, both from London, and currently at my post in Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth. She is a caring, compassionate, responsible, knowledgable, trustworthy, and delivers patient centric care to the highest standard. She is an excellent patient advocate and has excellent communication skills, including listening. The department has been lucky to recruit her to the south coast. Anna excels as a clinician, diagnostician, leader, manager and human being. The department has moved forward from many initiatives implemented by Dr Babb. She has many responsibilities including being laboratory lead, a registrar trainee supervisor and setting up nurse-led clinics. A truly excellent colleague. I am pleased I have eventually found time to "pen" this review.
