Dr Andy Montgomery was very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. He was interested in what I had to say and I didn’t feel rushed. I also felt like I was being listened to properly. Felt as if he genuinely cared how I felt. Finally found a professional that’s understood me

Dr Montgomery is relaxed and very easy to talk to. He is non-judgmental when listening, knowledgeable, and will answer any questions you may have.

Good-humored and non-judgmental, as a relatively anxious person I found Dr. Montgomery comfortable to be around. Answered all of my questions with thorough explanation, and gave me time to mull over any other queries I might have, or points I might want to make. Dr. Montgomery's practice is a relaxing space with good natural light and also, good chairs. No complaints and I would recommend him to any others.

Dr Andy Montgomery (MbBChir, PhD, MRCP, MRCPsych) qualified as a doctor in 1992 from Cambridge University and The Royal London medical school. He initially worked in general medicine obtaining his membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1995.
He has worked as a psychiatrist since 1996, and obtained a doctorate in neuroscience at Imperial College London for work using brain imaging to measure changes in neurotransmitter levels in psychiatric disorders.
He worked in Plymouth as a consultant in General Adult Psychiatry from 2005-2012. His special interests are the pharmacological management of mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and schizophrenia.
