Dr Birnie was very welcoming to this 82 year old lady, who has been diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma at the centre of her upper lip. It will have to be removed, and Dr Birnie examined it carefully, whilst taking into consideration all the precautions needed because of the Corona Virus. He advised me how it was to be done, the likely outcome as far as scarring, and the care I would have to take in drinking/eating afterwards, until the wound heals. It is obviously a frightening thing to go through, but it is necessary, and I am comforted by feeling that I am in good hands. I am sure Dr Birnie will do his very best towards a good outcome.

He has helped me improve a very cronic foot infection and continues to monitor this by making small improvements to the medication. This has been invaluable.
