Dr Childs is someone I have been unfortunate enough to see on a number of occasions but would not want to see again under any circumstances. She is loud, doesn't listen and is totally prescriptive in her speech disregarding anything that is said to her that she doesn't agree with. She will gladly waste consultation time talking about her house in Hampshire or her own blood pressure problems rather than take any note of you and your issues.
Her manner is abrasive on a good day starting with the first name summons in a loud and piercing voice from her room to the reception area, I have never felt I was on first name terms with her but she has an over familiar and patronising manner.
The loud and piercing voice is also put to good use discussing things with receptionists about patients and sometimes you even hear their names while waiting for an appointment. I would hope I've never been discussed in the way I have heard her speak about others.
If she was the only doctor left at Thameside I would register elsewhere immediately. Fortunately the other doctors are far better and far more professional.

Dr Childs is very personable - she always appears to be genuinely interested in me as a patient - and is willing to spend the necessary time to put you at ease and understand the reason for your visit. She then explains the way forward in a clear and uncomplicated way. For me - 10/10 every time.

Dr Child's is always very thorough and takes time to check very carefully all angles to make sure you get the right care. Very personable and easy to talk to.

Dr Child's is very caring, follows up treatment and gives one faith that all will be sorted out as soon as possible. She takes time to explain things well.
