Alastair was my anaesthetist for my operation in March 2019 it is good to have a doctor that will put you at ease and also be jolly which takes your mind off the operation, Alastair certainly did make the prossess calming and with a sence of humour which is appreciated thank you

Alastair has been a Consultant Anaesthetist at Good Hope Hospital, part of Heart of England Foundation Trust since 1999.

I aim to provide safe and quality anaesthesia to all my patients that I am involved with.

My areas of anaesthetic interest include anaesthesia for eye surgery and also colorectal (or bowel) surgery.

I recognise my role and resposibilities in the teams that I work with and currently I am involved as a Teamwork and Human Factors Trainer within my organisation at the Hollier Simulation Centre
