It is important that patients are comfortable seeing a doctor who will listen and will give guidance, without an abrupt or rude response. One of the attributes of Dr Mayet, his friendly, constructive and enthusiastic approach, he encouraged me to reduce my weight and thereby my medical condition by clearly explaining the damage my excessive weight was doing to me.

I would whole heartily recommend Dr Mayet. He found that my husband had a cancer
straight away and recommended that he see a oncologist very quickly. We followed his advice. The oncologist we saw, at first said that he could not find a cancer but to keep us happy he arranged a scan. He got in touch with us when he got the scan results and told us that he was wrong and that our GP was correct. If we had not seen Dr Mayet my husband would not have stood a chance of getting better. My wife and I have been very pleased with attention to health issues that have we have had since our first consultation with Dr Mayet. As patients with Fern House for many years under the direction of Dr Beatty and Dr Teverson it would always be an apprehensive period when specific doctors retire followed with the introduction of new faces. However, Dr Mayet has continued the excellent service in all aspects of the many health problems that can effect the senior patient and we have every confidence that this will continue

Dr Mayet has been my GP for about 10 years; since we moved to Witham. He has always been very helpful; giving helpful information and providing the appropriate care as required.
