I am blown away with the kindness and respect Dr Mayet had for me and my 1 year old son. I went with concerns for something completely different and I brought up how my child doesn’t eat on a regular basis he done all the checks and extra precautions to checking he was ok. Without him we’d still be at a loose end and I cannot thank him enough for all he has done for us. I’ve not come across a doctor like him. Absolutely amazing.

Dr Mayets Diagnosis and care of my problem Was excellent He arranged for me to immediately go to A&E where again my care was excellent. Doctor Mayet gave me clear and sound Advice and has done his best to get a quick refferal

Dr Mayet is always ready to listen to me and has a wealth of knowledge regarding type 2 diabetes. I would recommend this doctor over the others that I have recently had interactions with. Well done Dr Mayet

This doctor has gone above and beyond for me to help me investigate an underlying health problem. When the hospital has not listened ge has pushed back with evidence. This doctor doesnt leave any stone unturned i feel well looked after under his care.

I have been a patient of Fern House for over 45 years and during that time have seen many nurses and doctors. My most recent consultation has been with Dr Mayet who has been helping me with some ongoing health issues. He could easily have put my symptoms down to side effects of the medication I am taking but decided he would explore further. Throughout the process he has been extremely thorough with regard to his investigations and referrals. I find Dr Mayet to be friendly, caring and respectful and I am very grateful for the support he provides.

I cannot praise Dr Mayet highly enough. I have been experiencing rare postpartum issues that have lead to significant bouts of anxiety. Dr Mayet made me feel listened to and advocated for and, with his excellent counsel, I have been able to benefit from the medical support I require. He is a superb General Practitioner - I wish everyone had a GP like him.

I just wanted to leave a few words of appreciation with respect to the excellent care that I receive from Dr Mayet. Unlike some doctors once he sees a patient he is meticulous and rigorous in following the ‘care plan’ all the way through until the condition is either resolved or an ongoing management programme, subject to periodic review, is put in place. I am never in any doubt that he only has my best interests at heart and will leave no stone unturned to get to the root cause and then mitigate any issues that I face. As a GP he has my complete confidence, he can be firm, but is always fair and realistic. If all doctors showed the same dedication to their patients wellbeing and quality of life, the NHS would be in a far better place.

I want to say a massive thank you to Dr Mayet, who has cared for me since first being diagnosed with diabetes and done his utmost to cure me with advice and medication. I feel healthier and fitter, with more energy than I have felt in years. I have a busy family who needs me and the care I have received is much appreciated. Thank you so much!!!
