Amit Kumar has been my surgeon for two hip operations at the Highfield Hospital. I am so grateful for his assessment for both operations and for how quickly and efficiently he has arranged for my operations. During my stay in hospital Mr Kumar was a kind and reassuring presence, and gave me excellent information and feedback both before and after the surgery. He is informative and easy to to talk to. He is skilled as a surgeon and has performed both hip replacements to my complete satisfaction and with scars that have been both neat and quick-healing - in fact on both occasions the district nurses have commented on how neat the scars were when they came to remove the clips. Throughout my time under his care I have had complete confidence in Mr Kumar and would recommend him as a surgeon for this operation without reservation - he is a very nice man with great skill.
