I think that Lyrica works fairly well on some of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia as it does helps to keep the muscles slightly more soft and relaxed. However, I feel that it needs to be taken alongside other medication such as Citalopram and Tramadol to be effective.
I take this for fibromyalgia to try and cut down the awful pain experienced. The side effects are not good and I can only tolerate a small dose twice a day.
I experience significant neuropathic pain following nerve damage to my cervical spine. The prescription of Lyrics by my GP has resulted in a deal of relief. The daily dosage has been recently increased to 225mg at least once a day and this has significantly reduced my level of pain.
My general lifestyle has been positively affected as a consequence.
Lyrica, along with pregabalin and tramadol are the only reason that I'm able to get out of bed.
The only downside for me are the withdrawal effects that are horrible on the odd occasions that I haven't filled my prescription in time
I have been taking it for some time now and I get the best results when taken at night rather than in the morning.
