The following points are relevant a)The service is lead by an enthusiast, Dr Alex O'Neill-Kerr who runs this service in addition to his responsibility as Medical Director of the Trust. b)The unit has acquired a great deal of experience and is probably preminate in having a national; status and a lead position. c) The team have good nursing leadership and very caring staff, who care for the well being of the patient in the widest sense. I understand that improvements are planned for the layout of the department - or replacement, as the present arrangements compromise patient privacy. It is always a pleasure to visit the Hospital although a long distance from our home. My wife was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford wit a urine infection earlier this year where surprisingly there was complete ignorance in the Neuroscience Department of RTMS. Why does this not figure in doctors training? Peter Tankard
