I have been a customer/patient with Boots Opticians for over 20 years and I have always been very satisfied with my contact lens care. I feel that the staff are very professional and thorough in their examinations and advice.

The name of my optometrist was Gully . He was very thorough and spent time to explain some eye health issues with me. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very patient and understanding regarding my concerns. Definitely would recommend him . Fantastic service.

The experience was first class and the staff I dealt with were excellent. When choosing my frames I was assisted by Natalie C who went out of her way to explain which frames would be suitable and fully explained why others would not, this helped me feel confident in my choice. However the new layout of the store left a lot to be desired! It was very cramped and difficult to get round to see the frames as they have desks in the middle where other customers were being seen . You have to constantly move are ask others to move to reach frames and also to get to a mirror. Unfortunately when my daughter who was waiting for me mentioned this to a gentleman who turned out to be the manager he was very rude and dismissed her by abruptly replying it has been fed back !

Not only was the service straightforward, but the team went out of their way to look after me. At the time of my eye test I had my five month old baby with me. I needed breaks to look after him during the test itself, and was offered a private room to feed him in after the test had finished. Both the optometrist and Josh, who assisted me, deserve praise for making me feel comfortable in what could have been a very stressful situation. Thank you!

I ordered trail lens in January but never received them or got a call regarding them ! Also trying to contact boots at Meadowhall is a joke as you can never get through and it's been like that since December 2016 I spent 45 mins on the switch board trying to get a appointment to which I finally hung up the phone with no appointment ... Then had to try again and it took 5 more calls before I got through the next day ..!
